The Texas House Democratic Caucus is an official caucus of the Texas House of Representatives.

The House Democratic Caucus meets throughout the legislative session and interim to discuss public policy opportunities for Texas families, businesses, and individuals. Composed of all Democrats in the Texas House, the Caucus often joins together to develop legislative strategies on major pieces of legislation, support fellow Democrats as they work on their own bills, and communicate with state agencies about how rules and policies impact Texans across the state.

While the membership may change, the core priorities of the caucus are the same year to year – improve public education for Texas students, celebrate the diversity of our great state, and support policies that will create better jobs and a stronger economy for all Texas families.
